I’ve been asked why I shifted gears from Rolf work to CORE work. So I’d like to compare: similarities and differences. I hope this helps folks understand what both models represent.
Learning to Hang Around In a Squat Cultures that spend much time squatting have less back issues, less bowel issues and less knee and hip issues. I can’t squat indefinitely, but I can spend time both squatting and drawing circles with my knees. And thinking to myself ‘oil those joints’! I invite you to revisit squatting with my two tips; heels elevated and fingers for support and balance…. Squat! Try it out.

Practitioners of this CORE work are dedicated to unwinding fascial restrictions and holding of old trauma — physical, mental, emotional, chemical and energetic. We believe any old trauma can be stored in the body and inhibit freedom and movement, causing pain, illness and further lack of movement. As we work with clients, we partner with them to create freedom, movement, breath, and health in their systems. CORE Bodywork is done with the hands and head, but more importantly, with the heart.
